Refund Policy

We want you to pay for Coldreader only if it is useful to you. That is why the trial is free and needs no card. If you subscribe and it still turns out not to fit, here is how refunds work.

First payment

If you ask within 14 days of your first payment, we refund it in full, no questions asked. Email the address in the footer from the email address on your account, or reply to your Paddle receipt.

Renewals

Monthly renewals are not refunded automatically, because you can cancel at any time before the renewal date from the billing page and keep access until the end of the paid period. If you forgot to cancel and have not used the Service since the renewal, contact us within 7 days of the charge and we will refund it.

Service problems

If Coldreader was unavailable or failed to collect data for a significant part of a billing period because of a fault on our side, tell us and we will refund or credit that period.

How refunds are paid

Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method and normally appear within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.

Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable consumer protection law, including the EU right of withdrawal where it applies. If you are a consumer in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from the subscription within 14 days of the first purchase; the refund terms above already cover this.
