Billing questions
How does billing work?
Payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle charges your card, applies the right VAT or sales tax for your country, and sends you a proper invoice. We never see your card details.
What happens when the trial ends?
The trial lasts 14 days and needs no card. If you have not subscribed by then, data collection pauses and your dashboard shows what was collected so far. Subscribe and collection resumes immediately. Nothing is deleted unless you delete it.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from the billing page. You keep access until the end of the paid period. No emails to send, no retention calls.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. If Coldreader is not for you, ask within 14 days of your first payment and we refund it in full. See the refund policy for details.
Is there a free plan?
No. The 14-day trial is free and complete, and after that one flat price keeps things simple and keeps us independent of advertising money.
